Open Water Jumps and Liverpools designed to improve horse performance.

Liverpools jumps:
quality and design by Jump Off

A Liverpool jump is more than just an obstacle; it is a fundamental element in the dialogue between horse and rider, a classic tool that, from the earliest stages of training, helps build confidence, attention and technique. Facing a Liverpool correctly requires harmony, the same harmony that we try to celebrate in every show jumping competition.

The Jump Off team deeply understand the role of this type of obstacle. Thanks to Andrea Colombo’s direct experience on competition courses around the world, we design and build Liverpools that combine the tradition of this jump with safety and quality.

Liverpools: technical and regulatory characteristics

In order to guarantee technical correctness and safety in training and competition, each Liverpool must comply with specific characteristics.

  • Configuration, it can be mobile or permanently integrated into the ground
  • Presence of water or a visual simulation of it (usually with a blue cloth)
  • It can be presented as a single obstacle or combined with other elements — preceded, surmounted or followed by barriers, hedges, etc. A classic example is the Vertical on Liverpool
  • Its maximum frontal width may not exceed 2 metres (according to FEI/national specifications)

The construction quality of our Liverpool jumps:
    safety and durability

A Liverpool jump must invite approach, not frighten. It must withstand intensive use and accidental shocks, always guaranteeing maximum safety for the horse. For this reason, we take the utmost care in the construction of our obstacles. Shapes and colours are designed to be clearly visible and encourage a correct trajectory.

We use high-quality, impact- and weather-resistant materials, thus ensuring a long service life. In both stationary and mobile models, stability is a fundamental requirement to prevent accidents. We make use of all the experience of Italian craftsmanship for a carefully designed product that is built to last.
